How To Get The Shin Guard Guillotine In Jiu Jitsu From The Headlock

Today, we are going to learn the shin guard guillotine in Jiu Jitsu from the Headlock. For this move, you need to hold your opponent’s head like a football. Let’s say, Justin is in his knees. My chest is on his back. I get the football grip – I grab his chin.

Step One: Step Up

So, Justin is trying to take me down. I was lucky as I was little bit of faster. I sprawl. And, I grab his chin. I grab him with real tightness. That’s the position I am in. So, now the first move comes. And, the first move is to step my leg up. Here, the leg should be from the non choking side.

Step Two: Slide Your Knee Into His Belly

As I step my leg up, I slide my back leg and get it right in there with that shin across the belly. So, the second step is to slide my knee into his belly. I mean, I bring my other leg across his belly. I do it because this stops him from hopping over. So, there is no escape for him.

Step Three: Shin Guard Guillotine
