3 Simple Ways To Knock A Man Out In Self-Defense

Today, we’re going to talk about knockout strategies. These are concepts that you can employ when you want to knock somebody out.

Why Knockout Strategies Are Important

In any fight, knockout strategy is important. Because, there are specific techniques you may employ with which you may knock your opponent out. Besides, it is also time and energy saving. Why fight for hours when you can end a fight with just one specific move?

So, that’s what our today’s lesson is all about. We’ll talk about three simple ways to knock a man out in self defense.

Punch In Combinations

The first thing you need to know is that you have to punch in combinations. It’s usually not just a one punch one knock out kind of thing. You have to hit them many times over and over. Even the great boxers don’t usually throw one punch and have the guy just fall. It’s usually a series of concussions. So, punch in combinations – that’s critical.

Emphasize Circular Punches

The second thing you should think of when you want to knock somebody out is that you should emphasize circular punches. These are the right uppercut, left hook and the right hook. Those circular punches are extremely powerful and plus they come from a little bit outside of the of the opponent’s peripheral vision. The circular punches are little bit hard to see. Because it’s hard to see, I don’t have a chance to tense up my neck. There is a saying that the punch you don’t see that’s the one that knocks you out.

Emphasize Circular Punches

Circular punches are hard punches but a little bit more difficult to see. Mike Tyson or some of these guys that are known for their knockout ability, they will use a lot of circular punches. When you want to knock someone out, emphasize those circular punches. I’m not saying that you can’t knock somebody out with a straight ride. Of course, you can. I’m just saying that circular punches in combination seem to do a lot of damage and cause a lot of knockouts.

Aim For Proper Targets

The third concept to remember is the idea that we should aim for proper targets – aim for the opponent’s jaw. So, when you throw your combinations, you’re going to bombard them with circular punches all aiming at his jaw area. That’s the part that’s going to really knock him out and put him away.
