Today, we are going to learn the shin guard guillotine in Jiu Jitsu from the Headlock. For this move, you need to hold your opponent’s head like a football. Let’s say, Justin is in his knees. My chest is on his back. I get the football grip – I grab his chin.
Step One: Step Up
So, Justin is trying to take me down. I was lucky as I was little bit of faster. I sprawl. And, I grab his chin. I grab him with real tightness. That’s the position I am in. So, now the first move comes. And, the first move is to step my leg up. Here, the leg should be from the non choking side.
Step Two: Slide Your Knee Into His Belly
As I step my leg up, I slide my back leg and get it right in there with that shin across the belly. So, the second step is to slide my knee into his belly. I mean, I bring my other leg across his belly. I do it because this stops him from hopping over. So, there is no escape for him.
Step Three: Shin Guard Guillotine
And finally in step three, I continue keeping my guillotine. There is no way he can get away. But I am yet to choke him. So, what I now do is I do the shin guard guillotine. If you don’t know how to do the shin guard guillotine, please go through my lesson on how to do the shin guard guillotine.
